Family photos in Aruba are more than just pretty pictures — they’re little time capsules of your trip. Every beach here has its own personality, and part of my job is finding the one that feels just right for you. Here are my top five spots, with a little inside scoop on each.
Arashi Beach
Arashi is one of those beaches that makes you feel like you just stumbled onto your own little piece of Aruba. It’s calm, it’s beautiful, and it’s not as windy as a lot of other beaches — which is a big win for family photos (especially if we don’t want everyone’s hair blowing in different directions!).
I love that Arashi has two sides: the soft sandy area for those classic beach photos, and the rocky spots that add something a little different to your gallery. And if we time it right, we can usually find a quiet spot without too many people around.
✅ What You’ll Love
Calm, family-friendly atmosphere
Sand and rock backgrounds for variety
Works beautifully for morning and sunset
❌ What’s Not Perfect
The beach isn’t super long, so we don’t have endless space like Manchebo
💡 My Tip: Arashi is magical at sunset, but if you want total peace, mornings are the best.

Eagle Beach
Eagle Beach is like the postcard of Aruba — wide open, soft sand, and of course, the famous fofoti trees. Those trees are the ultimate “Aruba signature” in family photos.
The only catch? Everyone else knows it’s beautiful too. Sunset can get busy here, especially during peak season. But in the morning, it feels like you have the whole place to yourself.
✅ What You’ll Love
Iconic fofoti trees for that “Aruba look”
Wide beach that’s perfect for walking shots
Crystal blue water
❌ What’s Not Perfect
Crowded at sunset, so mornings are better for peace and quiet
💡 My Tip: If the fofoti trees are a must-have for your photos, plan a morning shoot before most people arrive.

Surfside Beach
Surfside is one of my personal favorites for families who want a laid-back vibe. It’s not as busy as the more famous beaches, which means you can relax without feeling like everyone’s watching.
You’ll still get that beautiful Aruba scenery, plus a few divi divi trees and even some greenery for variety in the background. The water here is calmer in color, but that actually works really well for warm, cozy family photos.
✅ What You’ll Love
Quiet, relaxed environment
Greenery and trees for softer, natural photos
Sunset feels private and peaceful
❌ What’s Not Perfect
Water isn’t as bright turquoise as some other spots
💡 My Tip: Surfside is perfect for families who want a more private, low-key session.

Manchebo Beach
Manchebo is a dream for families — it’s huge, wide, and has palm trees that give a perfect tropical touch. Even when there are people around, it feels like you have tons of space.
The only little hiccup? Parking can be tricky right at sunset, but it’s worth it for those golden tones. Morning light here is also soft and gorgeous.
✅ What You’ll Love
Tons of space for running, playing, and candid shots
Palm trees for a tropical background
Beautiful light at both morning and sunset
❌ What’s Not Perfect
Parking can be tough at sunset
💡 My Tip: If you’re bringing little ones, Manchebo is amazing because it’s so open — they can run, and we can still keep the photos beautiful.

Casa del Mar Beach
This little stretch of beach is tucked between Divi All-Inclusive and Casa del Mar Resort. It’s got gorgeous blue water, soft white sand, and a few rocky spots for when you want something a little different in your photos.
It’s a great spot in the mornings — during the weekends, it can get busy with both tourists and locals, so weekdays are your best bet for quiet.
✅ What You’ll Love
Blue water and soft sand
Rocks to sit or pose on for variety
Easy morning light
❌ What’s Not Perfect
Weekends can be busy, so aim for weekdays
💡 My Tip: This beach is amazing if you want a mix of classic sand shots and more relaxed poses on the rocks.

Extra Tips for Making It Great
Skip weekends if you can — Aruban beaches are busy with locals and tourists alike.
Sunsets are magical, and even cloudy skies can add drama and depth—don’t worry if it's not perfectly clear.
Plan early in your trip—booking early gives flexibility to reschedule if the weather turns.
